How we handle returns
Return window
You have 30 days from receiving your order to request a return.
Basic requirements
For most returns, we’ll ask that:
you provide proof of purchase, and
items are in the same condition you received them, in their original packaging, unless they are faulty or damaged.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where required by law. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
When you've simply changed your mind
1.1 Unopend and unused
For change-of-mind returns, products must be:
unopened and unused (for food safety reasons), and
in their original packaging.
If these conditions aren’t met, we may not be able to accept a change-of-mind return.
1.2 Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, you may be responsible for return shipping unless we’ve clearly stated otherwise (for example, during a specific promotion).
2. Damaged, Faulty or Wrong Items
When somethings gone off-script
2.1 Check your order on arrival
Please check your delivery when it arrives. If:
items are damaged or leaking,
the product appears faulty or unsafe, or
you’ve received the wrong item,
email us as soon as you can at hello@australiancoffeeculture.com.
2.2 What helps us help you
When you get in touch, it really helps to include:
your order number,
a short description of the issue, and
a few clear photos of the packaging and affected products.
2.3 Your rights
If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or doesn’t do what it should, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. We’ll work with you to choose the right outcome based on the situation.
3. How to Return
Simple steps to start a return
Email hello@australiancoffeeculture.com and tell us:
your name,
your order number, and
which item(s) you’d like to return and why.
Please wait for our reply before sending anything back. Items sent to us without a return being approved first may not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we’ll send you:
a return shipping label or shipping instructions, and
details on where and how to send your package.
For damaged, faulty or incorrect items, we will usually cover reasonable return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping may be at your cost.
4. Refunds
How and when we refund you
4.1 How refunds are paid
Once we receive and check your return, we’ll let you know if the refund is approved. Approved refunds are usually processed back to your original payment method.
4.2 When refunds show up
After we process the refund, your bank or payment provider may take a few business days to post it to your account.
4.3 When we may. not refund
We may decline a refund or offer a partial refund if:
a change-of-mind return is outside the 30-day window, or
the product has been opened or used and is not faulty or damaged.
These limits apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not affect your rights if the product is genuinely faulty or does not meet consumer guarantees.
